Initially released as a limited run for record store day 2025, ‘First It Was Good…’ quickly became a mainstay of Slush Poppy records. Packed with some of PJ’s deepest cuts, FIWG is the only way one could possibly follow up ‘Heartfelt’.

The record is an amalgam of 2018’s ‘Teleshopping EP’ and 2020’s ‘Yoko Ono EP’, topped off with memetic fan-favourite ‘Sad Cowgirl Playlist’. Despite being recorded over a six year period, the tracks on FIWG go together surprisingly well.
